Geoff Prendergast

Geoff  attended CBC at Mt Lawley and obtained Bachelor of Business Accounting at Curtin University at Bentley.

He is a Fellow of the Certified Practising Accountants;

For 50 years he was the managing director of various companies involved with; real estate development; construction and operation of hotels and resorts; and a company exporting commodities to Japan. He worked for multi-national organizations in Perth and London.

He was keen on sport playing amateur football with East Perth and Scarborough. He tried his hand water polo. For 25 years his knees lasted at marathon running.

Geoff recently retired from the Board of Governors of Fairbridge Western Australia Inc. His role included chairmanship of the Finance committee. Fairbridge is fully involved in looking after “young people at risk ”

He has been variously involved with the Catenian Association as President of Province 20, treasurer of Province 20 and he is the treasurer of Province 20 Youth Support Project and the Catenian Charity Inc.

He passion is to strengthen and advance the ideals and values of the Association throughout Australia, He realizes the need all members to be involved  so as  to achieve a positive result.
